This grid system pre-exists in any space: offices, homes, a room or your desk. It can be overlayed on any floorplan or on a larger scale, this can be applied to a property, a park or a city. Each sector, or "Gua", represents a human aspiration.

The Eastern approach applies directions while the Western approach uses the front door as reference point, therefore you enter in Wisdom, Career or Helpful Friends. There are those who believe the Eastern approach is more valid and others who favor the Western. I have used and integrated both with successful results. Do not underestimate the power of your intuition or placing your intention by using objects, imagery and colors to support each aspiration. You can experiment!
